Fluke Handheld DMM Selection guide
Fluke 110 Series Digital Multimeters
Sometimes smaller is better
When size is important, the three models of the new 110 Series are clearly the best choice. These compact meters pack more features than many multimeters twice their size.
Fluke 12 Digital Multimeter
First-level troubleshooters
The 2 different models in the Fluke 10 Series are ideal for first-level troubleshooting. The VChek™ function provides the user with ultimate ease of use by automatic switching to AC voltage, DC voltage or resistance measurements depending on the input. The range extends from the basic Fluke 10 to the high-end Fluke 12, with its extra capabilities for measuring, capacitance, plus recording of minimum and maximum values over time with a relative time stamp.
Fluke 1507/1503 Insulation Resistance Testers
The Fluke 1507 and 1503 Insulation Testers are compact, rugged, reliable, and easy to use. With their multiple test voltages, they are ideal for many troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventative maintenance applications.
Additional features, like the remote probe on these tools save both time and money when performing tests.
Fluke 1587/1577 Insulation Multimeters
Two powerful tools in one
The Fluke 1587 and 1577 Insulation Multimeters combine a digital insulation tester with a full-featured, true RMS digital multimeter in a single, compact, handheld unit, which provides maximum versatility for both troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Whether you work on motors, generators, cables, or switch gear, the Fluke 1587/1577 Insulation Multimeters are ideally suited to help you with your tasks and at a cost that is far less than buying the two products.
Fluke 16 Multimeter
Measures temperature and microamps
The Fluke 16 measures temperature quickly and accurately. Standard equipment includes an 80BK integrated DMM temperature probe. A microamp function is included for flame sensor measurements down to 0.1 microamps. Use the Fluke to test motor start and run capacitors up to 10,000 microfarads. Rely on the Fluke 16 to make your everyday measurements - up to 600 volts ac or dc, 40 megohms, diode test and exceptionally fast continuity.
Fluke 170 Series Digital Multimeters
Setting the new multimeter standard
The three models of the new 170 Series are the new benchmarks for general purpose multimeters. They set the standard with a combination of precision, features, ease-of-use, safety and reliability.

Fluke 787 ProcessMeter
Double Your Power
A maintenance and calibration tool that will be at home in every instrumentation technician's tool box, the Fluke 787 ProcessMeterT combines a DMM and a Loop Calibrator in one rugged, handheld tool, for about what you would expect to pay for a loop calibrator alone. Based on the trusted Fluke 87 DMM, the 787 adds the ability to measure, source, and simulate dc loop current with 0.05% accuracy and 1 microamp resolution.
Fluke 789 ProcessMeter™
Double Your Power
The Fluke 787 was the first tool to combine a DMM and a loop calibrator to give process technicians double the power in one tool. Now it’s even better, the range is extended with the new Fluke 789 – the ultimate loop calibration multimeter. The Fluke 789 has a 24-Volt loop supply reducing the need for taking a separate power supply when doing offline transmitter testing. And with its built-in, selectable 250-Ohm Hart® resistor, it also eliminates the need to carry a separate resistor with you. Now process technicians can do a lot more while carrying a lot less.
