Nexus HOP Receiver is a receiver for the real-time data collection protocol implemented by Siemens on their SURPASS and EWSD switches. It continually monitors a dedicated connection to the switch, capturing the data as soon as it is generated, and delivering it within the minimal time frame required. The result is a real-time data collection solution with low impact on the switch and the IP-network performance.
The Nexus HOP Receiver is a dedicated data collector for this data source, interfacing seamlessly with other billing applications e.g. NexusDBS.
