PCM channel analyzer

PCM channel analyzer for CODEC and line card tests
With the PCM-40 Channel Analyzer, automatic test sequences can be produced by combining several test configurations together from a range of stored setups. All of the measurement functions included in the PCM-40, along with any variations in test variables, parameters, and tolerance limits, can be used in any order. In addition, the sequence can be programmed to stop if an incorrect result is obtained or before each different measurement task.

Highlights

Ideal for installation, line-up, monitoring, and fault location of communication systems and networks.
High accuracy and reproduction of test results.
Applications
CODEC and line card tests on PCM multiplexes and digital exchanges.
Long-term monitoring of 2 Mbps paths.
Quality monitoring in an idle channel.
BERT and alarm tests including G.821.
Testing and maintenance of 2 Mbps leased lines.
Key Features
Complete digital and analog tests to ITU-T recommendations G.712 and O.133/O.162.
Optional co-directional and contra-directional 64 kbps interfaces to ITU-T G.703.
Complex impedances.
User-defined variable test parameters, automatic test sequences, graphical tolerance masks, code measurements, frames, and CAS measurements.
Large memory for measurement results and setups.
