CTER-91
Current Transformer Excitation, Ratio and Polarity Test Set
Tests CTs mounted in transformers
or switchgear
Tests without changing leads
With Model CTER-91 current transformers can be tested while mounted in transformers, oil circuit breakers breakers or switchgear - without moving bushings and CTs. Using the voltage-comparison method, Model CTER-91 provides a variable-voltage output up to 1000 volts and precision instrumentation for testing single and multi-ratio CTs.
MCTT-10
Current Transformer Tester
Performs saturation and ratio tests on CTs using the voltage-comparison method
Tests bushing CTs mounted inside transformers or switchgear
Eliminates the need for large Primary Injection Test Systems to test CT saturation and ratio
Saturation and ratio tests performed without changing test lead connections
Overload and short-circuit protection
MCTT-10 provides a variable voltage output and digital instrumentation for measuring the excitation voltage and excitation current, that results as the voltage applied to the CT under test is increased. As the CT under test begins to saturate, a large increase in current will be detected for a small increase in voltage.
Megger TTR100

Single Phase, Hand-Cranked TTR
Transformer Turns Ratio Test Set
Used for testing single phase power
and distribution transformers
Design based on precision bridge
measuring technique
Unmatched accuracy (±0.1%) in a
portable design
The Single Phase TTR, Transformer Turns Ratio Test Set, measures the turns ratio and exciting current of windings in power, potential and current transformers. Deviations in turns ratio readings indicate problems in one or both windings or the magnetic core circuit.
Three-Phase TTR
Three-Phase Transformer Turns Ratio Test Set
Fully automatic operation
Measures three phases simultaneously
Highest ratio measurement
(45,000:1); highest accuracy (0.1%)
Built-in storage and downloading capabilities
Measures ALL power transformers, PT's
and CT's
Displays % error vs. name plate and
pass/fail limits
Operator choice of "quick" test or
complete "full" test
CE certified
Transformer Ohmmeter
Transformer Winding Resistance and Tap-changer Test Set
Dual independent channels for
simultaneous measurements on two windings
Built-in safety discharge and shut-down feature
Tests operation of on-load tap-changers
This lightweight, field portable unit safely and accurately measures the DC winding resistance of all types of transformers and rotating machines. A built-in circuitry safely discharges the specimen when the test is completed, if load accidentally disconnected or if line power is lost. |
